Things to do around.

The house is well located on the El Salvador map. We are close enough to San Salvador to enjoy the entertainment dining and art, but far enough to feel the serenity of the beach.

Day trip to San Salvador
MARTE museum of modern art, Museo David J. Guzman antropology museum, or a Museum of Jesuits in la UCA.  For nightlife and visit  La Luna Casa y Arte a very hip bar or more !! In the shopping malls of Multiplaza or La Gran Via, you can find as well restaurants and nightclubs.
If your feeling adventurous go to downtown San Salvador and visit the Central Market,  the National Theater, the Cathedral and  some interesting 19th century buildings

The colonial towns of Ataco,Apaneca , and Juayua can be reached by car in less than two hours, as well as the Bosque El Imposible.
We recommend a scenic drive along the coastal highway to Mizata beach, the curvy road passes through five tunnels and many opportunites to stop and enjoy the spectacular view.

Suchitours is a company that does tours and we like them very much. El Salvador is so small that you can be in almost any corner of the country and come back to the beach the same day.

Other suggestions
• Day trip to Suchitoto
• Santa Ana and Lake Coatepeque
• Tamanique Falls, a guide is recommended. The falls can be reached after a 40 minute hike from the town of Tamanique, a double waterfall and pool can be accessed fairly easily, a single waterfall, further down requires a rope and some climbing experience.
• Visit a farm in Chiltiupan where they grow coffee,  balsamo and local fruits.
• Nightlife in Zunzal Beach 10 km away from VB
